Mr. Young has core competencies in System Architecture, Integration, and Design; Network Architecture and Design; and Hardware Infrastructure and Network Operating Systems. He has twenty years of professional, academic, and independent experience in the field of Information Technology. He has an aptitude for aligning Information Technology with enterprise goals, business processes, organizational structures, organizational behaviors, and business information.

For 16 years Mr. Young was involved in building and managing IT Systems and Networks for multiple agencies within the Georgia state government. He transitioned to tolling systems and networks after joining the Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA). For five years he was integral in the deployment of Georgia’s first ORT system, the 85 Express Lanes, which was an HOV to HOT conversion with no barrier. He has been the IT lead on multiple Tolling projects including SRTA’s 75 South (75 S) reversible Express Lanes, the Northwest Corridor (NWC) reversible Express Lanes, and the 85 Express Lanes Extension. For the last year and a half Mr. Young has worked as a consultant for TTI Consulting. He is currently a Project Manager and Systems Consultant for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey working on both of their toll system replacement projects.
